Kelly Forbes is a Canadian skeleton racer born on December 26, 1973, in Calgary, Alberta. He began competing in skeleton in 2003 and joined the Canadian national team in 2005. Under coach Willi Schneider, Forbes made his international debut in the 2003/04 Skeleton America's Cup, finishing between 7th and 11th in all events. He achieved a surprising 3rd place at the 2004 North American Championship. His best World Cup result was 10th in November 2006, and he excelled in the newly established Intercontinental Cup in 2007/08, securing a 2nd place in Park City.
