Kenneth Leigh Goodman is an American politician who served as a Democratic member of the North Carolina General Assembly representing the 66th district. He was born on September 17, 1947, and resigned from the legislature in 2019 to join the North Carolina Industrial Commission. A controversial figure, Goodman voted in favor of the 2016 HB2 bill. He graduated with an associate degree from Wingate University and a bachelor's degree from Florida State University. His father was R. W. Goodman, the sheriff of Richmond County.
