Ernest Kenneth Leslie OBE was an Australian Anglican bishop who served as the Anglican Bishop of Bathurst from 1959 to 1981. He was educated at Trinity Grammar School and the University of Melbourne. Leslie was ordained in 1934 and held various roles including curate and chaplain. Notably, in 1971, he walked 130 miles to raise funds for a cathedral, earning the nickname 'The Bishop who walked'. He received an honorary doctorate in 1996 and passed away on January 6, 2010.
