Ken Whiting is a Canadian former competitive whitewater kayaker born on December 12, 1974. He is known for winning the 1997/98 World Freestyle Kayaking Champion title and the 1998 Japan Open Champion title, along with being a five-time Canadian National Champion in freestyle kayaking. Since 1998, he has been actively involved in kayaking education by opening a kayaking school and founding the Canadian Freestyle Kayaking Association. He has also produced instructional material and launched television shows related to paddlesport.
