Kengo Hanazawa is a Japanese comic artist born in Aomori Prefecture in 1974. He began his career as an assistant before making his professional debut in 2004 with the story 'Ressentiment' in Big Comic Spirits. From 2005 to 2008, he published the manga 'Boys on the Run,' which was later adapted into a live-action film and television series. In 2012, he created the short story collection 'Tokkaten' featuring various narratives. He gained prominence with his manga 'I Am a Hero' in 2014, and his latest work is titled 'Akizakura.'
