He holds the Guinness World Record for running on all fours over 100 meters with a time of 15.71 seconds, achieved on November 6, 2015, at Komazawa Olympic Park in Tokyo. Ito studied animal movement for nine years and practiced his technique by cleaning floors on all fours at his job as a janitor. He previously set records in 2013 and 2008. He has been working for a solar energy company since his emergence in 2016.
