Ken'ichi Tsunoda, born in 1951, is a Japanese jazz musician known for his work as a trombonist, arranger, and big band leader. He studied at the Toho Gakuen School of Music and began his career in the late 1970s with Toshiyuki Miyama's New Herd big band. Tsunoda has been involved with notable groups like Nobuo Hara's Sharps & Flats and the Tokyo Union Big Band. He formed his own big band in the late 1990s and released several albums including 'Savanna' and 'For J.G.', honoring jazz legends. His work is heavily influenced by the classic big band style.
