Ken'ichi Yoshida is a Japanese musician and a founding member of the Yoshida Brothers (Yoshida kyōdai) along with his brother Ryōichirō. Born on December 16, 1979, in Noboribetsu, Hokkaido, he began studying minyou shamisen at the age of five in 1985. By 1990, at ten years old, he became a student of Takashi Sasaki, a master of the tsugaru shamisen, which is a traditional Japanese musical instrument. His work with the Yoshida Brothers combines modern styles with traditional elements.
