Ken'ichirō Isozaki is a Japanese writer born on February 28, 1965. He began writing only in his late thirties while working at a trading company. Isozaki made his literary debut in 2007 and was nominated for the Akutagawa Prize the following year. He won the prize in 2009 for his novel 'Tsui no sumika' (終の住処). In 2011, he received the Bunkamura Prix des Deux Magots for 'Aka no tanin no uri futatsu' (赤の他人の瓜二つ). His works have garnered critical acclaim and recognition in Japanese literature.
