Kenneth Cheruiyot is a Kenyan long-distance runner known for his success in marathons and half-marathons. He set a world record at the 25 km of Berlin in 1997 with a time of 1:13:58 and secured third place at the World Half Marathon Championships. Cheruiyot won the Monaco Marathon in 1999 and achieved notable results at the Rotterdam Marathon, winning in 2000 and finishing second in 2001 and 2002, despite suffering a severe injury in 2002. He is married to Nancy Jebet Langat, the 2008 Olympic champion in the 1500 meters.
