Kenneth Mackessack was a Scottish first-class cricketer and British Army officer, born on October 24, 1902. He served with the Seaforth Highlanders from 1923 until 1948, participating in campaigns in British India and during World War II, where he was wounded at the Battle of El Alamein. After his service, he was a military attaché in Washington and was awarded the Legion of Merit. Additionally, he played first-class cricket for the British Army team and later became the deputy lieutenant for Moray in 1954.
