Sir Kenneth Henry Wheeler was an Australian politician born on September 7, 1912, in Mernda. He worked on his father's farm before establishing a retail dairy business in Coburg. A member of the Liberal Party, he served on the Coburg City Council and was mayor. Elected to the Victorian Legislative Assembly in 1958, he became Speaker in 1973 and was knighted in 1976. He retired in 1979 and passed away on May 10, 1996.
