Kensaku Ōhashi, born on October 26, 1943, is a prominent Japanese social welfare scholar and an emeritus professor at Nihon Shakai Jigyo University. His expertise lies in community welfare and community social work. A graduate of Nihon Shakai Jigyo University in 1967, he also completed his doctoral coursework at the University of Tokyo in 1973. He has served as the university's president and contributed significantly to the development of social welfare studies in Japan through various roles, including as president of the Japanese Society for Welfare Studies and chairman of the Technological Aid Association.
