Kerstin Gerschau, born on January 26, 1958, in Leipzig, is a former German artistic gymnast. Competing for SC Leipzig, she gained recognition by winning a bronze medal in the all-around at the 1973 European Championships in London. She achieved further success by winning multiple medals in DDR championships and also competed at the 1976 Olympics, where she won team bronze. Beyond her athletic career, Gerschau studied choreography and theater, ran a fitness studio, and worked as a sports teacher, eventually leading her own dance group.
