Kerstin Margareta Gustafsson, born February 29, 1944, is a Swedish translator from English. Since her debut in 1974, she has translated crime fiction and other entertainment literature but has gradually taken on more sophisticated assignments. She has translated over ten books by Joyce Carol Oates, four by Raymond Carver, and three by Richard Yates, starting with 'Revolutionary Road' in 2008. Gustafsson also writes columns about translation for Språktidningen.
