She has been a candidate in the Democratic primary for the U.S. Senate in Texas and is a two-time Democratic Party nominee for Texas's 22nd congressional district. Rogers, who is African American, is known for her support of Lyndon LaRouche's ideas and has called for the impeachment of U.S. President Barack Obama.
