Starting in 1966, he cultivated decorative trees and shrubs, gathering seeds from botanical gardens and former manor parks. His park hosts approximately 1300 species of woody plants, making it one of Lithuania's richest dendrological collections, featuring a blend of plant groups, rock compositions, and wooden sculptures by folk artists.
