Ketevana Konstantinovna Dzhaparidze, known as Keto Japaridze, was a prominent Georgian Soviet singer born on February 11, 1901, in the Kutais Governorate of the Russian Empire. She gained recognition for her powerful voice while studying at the Tiflis noble gymnasium and later at the Tiflis Conservatory. After further training in Berlin, she returned to the USSR, debuting in major cities like Moscow and Leningrad in 1937. Dzhaparidze performed patriotic songs during World War II and was awarded the title of People's Artist of the Georgian SSR in 1956. She passed away on September 20, 1968.
