Kevin Bannon (born June 11, 1957) is a former American college basketball head coach, known for leading Rutgers University from 1997 to 2001. He previously coached Rider University and Trenton State College, achieving NCAA Tournament appearances with Rider. His tenure at Rutgers ended controversially due to a lawsuit involving player misconduct. Bannon later worked as executive director for Mercer County Park Commission until 2016 and returned to coaching at Notre Dame High School in 2008, resigning in 2010. He was indicted in 2017 for misuse of public funds.
