Kevin Barrett (born February 1959) is a former American college lecturer who converted to Islam. He is a member of the scientific panel investigating 9/11 and a co-founder of the Muslim-Jewish-Christian Alliance, established on October 30, 2004, to enhance interfaith dialogue and understanding post-9/11. In the fall of 2006, Barrett taught a course on 'Islam: Religion and Culture', which sparked controversy for including conspiracy theories related to the September 11 attacks. The Anti-Defamation League identified him as a leading promoter of antisemitic 9/11 conspiracy theories.
