Khaled Ahmed is the editor-in-chief of the Pakistani weekly newspaper The Friday Times, published in Lahore. He is one of the most recognized political analysts and commentators in the Pakistani press. After leaving his diplomatic career, he took up journalism, becoming the editor of the daily Frontier Post and the daily The Nation. Born in 1943 in Jullundher, India, he settled in Lahore after partition. He holds a master's degree in English Literature from G.C. Lahore University and is fluent in English, Punjabi, Urdu, and several other languages.
