Khasan Nazar, born Khasan Mudarasovich Nazarov on January 15, 1942, is a prominent Bashkortostan poet, recognized as a People's Poet of Bashkortostan since 2017. He is also a journalist and translator, notable for receiving the Salavat Yulaev State Prize in 2000, as well as the Rami Garipov (2007) and Zainab Biisheva (2007) literary awards. In 2022, he was awarded the Order for his services to the Republic of Bashkortostan.
