DJ Kheops, born Éric Mazel on May 4, 1966, in Marseille, is a French DJ and member of the hip-hop group IAM. Known for his solo career, he also runs Sad Hill Records. He started DJing at age 13 and worked at Spirit Radio. Meeting rapper Akhenaton in 1985 led him to join IAM, which released their debut album in 1990. Kheops released his solo compilation Sad Hill in 1997, selling 150,000 copies and hosts a show on Skyrock. He has since released albums like Sad Hill Impact and curated collections showcasing 80s funk music.
