Khoshbakht Yusifzadeh was an Azerbaijani engineer-geologist, born on January 14, 1930, in Pirshaghi, ZSFSR, USSR. He earned a Doctorate in geology and mineralogy in 1987, becoming a professor and a full member of the National Academy of Sciences of Azerbaijan in April 2007. Yusifzadeh served as the First Vice President of the State Oil Company of the Republic of Azerbaijan, specializing in geology, geophysics, and field development until his death on October 3, 2023.
