Khristo Dobrev Stoyanov, also known as Diko, was a politician and a general of the Bulgarian Communist Party. He participated in the resistance movement during World War II as a partisan fighter in the 'Chavdar' People's Fighting Detachment and the 'Hristo Karpachev' Partisan Squad. He served as the Chief of the General Staff of the Bulgarian Army (BNA) in 1990 and held the position of a people's representative in several National Assemblies including the V, VI, VII, VIII, and IX as well as in the VII Great National Assembly.
