Khurshid Davron is an Uzbek poet, writer, essayist, dramatist, translator, publicist, and historian, born on January 20, 1952, in Samarkand, Uzbekistan. He is renowned for his contributions to Uzbek literature and was awarded the title of People's Poet of Uzbekistan in 1999. His accolades include the Mahmud Kashgari International Prize in 1989, the International Golden Pen Award in 2009, and the "Mushfiq" award from Azerbaijan in 2013. Additionally, he has served as a deputy in the National Assembly of Uzbekistan.
