Kibe Senji (April 1, 1912 – May 2, 1990) was a Japanese Jodo Shinshu Buddhist monk and the 21st head of the Shinshu Kibe sect. He was also an optical engineer renowned as a master lens polisher, earning the nickname 'Lens Priest.' His father was Kibe Koji and his mother was Shizuko, daughter of Daigo Tadataka. He had notable relatives, including ties to prominent Buddhist figures and aristocrats in Japan.
