Kichitarō Takamatsu (1901-1990) was a prominent Japanese railway enthusiast and pharmacist, known for his contributions to the literature on Japanese trams, particularly the Tokyo tram system. He played a significant role in the railway hobby community as a founding member of the Railway Friends Association and established the Tokyo Railway Club post-World War II. Despite being a pharmacist, he dedicated much of his life to documenting and researching Japanese railways and streetcars, and authored numerous books on the subject.
