Kiernan Patrick Kelly was an Irish-born British serial killer, known as the London Underground Serial Killer. Between 1953 and 1983, he pushed 18 people under subway trains at various stations along the Northern Line. Despite the severity of his actions, he was never held responsible, as authorities regarded the deaths as a wave of suicides. In 1984, he was imprisoned for robbery, where he also killed a cellmate and confessed to the subway murders during the investigation. Some believe his victim count could be as high as 31.
