Kim Campbell, born Avril Faidra Douglas Campbell on March 10, 1947, is a Canadian politician, diplomat, lawyer, and author. She served as Canada's 19th Prime Minister from June 25 to November 4, 1993, being the first and only woman to hold this position. Campbell was also the first Prime Minister born in British Columbia and from the baby boomer generation. Her tenure lasted 132 days, making it the third shortest in Canadian history. Currently, she holds the position of Chair of the Advisory Council of the Supreme Court of Canada.
