Kim Jae-sup is a retired South Korean career diplomat. He entered the foreign service in 1969 and held various positions including: Second Class Embassy Secretary in Canberra, advisor at the UN, Deputy Director General at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and several ambassador roles in Prague and Jakarta. He served as the Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs from March 3, 2003, to January 28, 2004, and was involved in the Asia–Europe Meeting (ASEM). His extensive diplomatic career spanned several decades, reflecting significant contributions to South Korea's foreign relations.
