Kim Sol-mi is a North Korean judoka born on November 20, 1990. She won gold at the 2011 World Military Judo Championship and achieved fifth place at the 2013 World Judo Championships in Rio de Janeiro. In 2014, she secured bronze medals at the Abu Dhabi Grand Slam and Qingdao Grand Prix. Kim continued her success with a bronze at the 2015 Asian Judo Championships and another bronze at the 2016 Asian Judo Championships. She also competed in the women's (48 kg) judo event at the 2016 Summer Olympics but did not advance past the first match.
