Kim Thorson, born on March 2, 1932, is a former Saskatchewan politician and lawyer. Representing Souris-Estevan, he held office from 1956 to 1960 as a member of the Co-operative Commonwealth Federation (CCF) and from 1971 to 1975 in the New Democratic Party (NDP). Thorson completed his education at the University of Saskatchewan, earning two degrees and becoming Queen's Council in 1972. He practiced law in Estevan, Regina, and Weyburn, where he later retired in 2012. He is survived by his three children and eight grandchildren.
