Kimmie Meissner is an American figure skater born on October 4, 1989. She is the 2006 World Champion, 2007 Four Continents Champion, and 2007 U.S. National Champion, making her the first American woman to hold all three titles simultaneously. In 2005, she became the second American woman to land a triple axel in national competition. Meissner is also noted for being the youngest American athlete to compete in the 2006 Winter Olympics, where she finished sixth. She was inducted into the U.S. Figure Skating Hall of Fame in 2020.
