Aune debuted with the documentary 'Røros, en history' in 1970 and made a significant mark with the animated film 'Hva skal vi gjøre med lille Jill?' in 1987, winning awards at the Shanghai Film Festival. Over her career, she has produced over 60 episodes for children's television and approximately 15 short and animated films.
