Kinzō Konparu is a prominent Nō performer born on January 2, 1925, in Nara City, Japan, specializing in the Shite style of the Kanparu school. He is the second son of the 78th headmaster, Kanparu Hachijō (Kōtarō), and began his career at the age of five. Throughout his career, he has performed in various traditional works, including 'Ishibashi', 'Dōjōji', and 'Sotoba Komachi'. In 1965, he was recognized as an Important Intangible Cultural Asset of Nō, and in 1998, he was awarded the Order of the Rising Sun, 5th Class. He actively promotes Nō through performances aimed at beginners.
