Kira Anisimovna Gorbacheva was a prominent Soviet volleyball player, born on March 12, 1932. She was a member of the Soviet Union national team and competed in 1956. Gorbacheva achieved significant success, becoming the World Champion in 1960 and the Soviet Champion in 1959. In recognition of her exceptional contributions to the sport, she was awarded the title of Honored Master of Sports of the USSR in 1968. She passed away on April 26, 2013.
