Kiyoshi Kishibe (January 3, 1931 - February 11, 2019) was a Japanese singer and businessman, known as the first leader of 'The Sons of Drifters,' now known as 'The Drifters.' He founded Daiichi Production and contributed significantly to the Japanese music industry by managing popular talent, including enka artists. Kishibe played a crucial role in the growth of his company, which expanded with the establishment of branches and the founding of Cats Town Records. After facing challenges in later years, his company was dissolved in 2017, and he passed away due to heart failure at age 88.
