Kiyotaka Kawasaki is a retired Japanese discus thrower born on July 11, 1950, in Kure, Hiroshima Prefecture. He achieved notable success in athletics during the 1970s, winning a bronze medal at the 1975 Asian Athletics Championships and a silver at the 1977 Pacific Conference Games. He also secured a bronze at the 1978 Asian Games and placed eighth at the 1979 Athletics World Cup. A six-time Japanese champion, Kawasaki set a national record of 60.22 meters on April 22, 1979.
