Klas Cederwall was a Swedish civil engineer, born on December 24, 1936, in Borås and passed away on April 2, 2018. He graduated from Chalmers University of Technology in 1960 and went on to become a licentiate in technology in 1963, earning his doctorate and becoming an associate professor in hydraulic engineering by 1968. He served as a professor at the Royal Institute of Technology starting in 1976. Cederwall was also employed at Allmänna Ingenjörsbyrån AB and was elected a member of the Royal Swedish Academy of Engineering Sciences in 1988.
