Kobayashi Keisei, born on January 26, 1944, is a prominent Japanese printmaker and artist renowned for his specialization in hanga and wood engraving. His artistic technique includes the kagami-bari method, which allows for the creation of mirrored symmetrical figures on washi paper using two wood plates. In addition to his artistic achievements, he serves as a professor of printmaking at Tama Art University and is an active member of both the Japan Print Association and the Japan Artists Association, Inc.
