Kobi Marom, born on March 16, 1960, is a retired Colonel in the Israel Defense Forces (IDF). He served predominantly with the Golani Brigade, where he commanded the 13th Battalion and the Golani Brigade's training battalion. He also led the Hermon Brigade and the Hiram Formation during the security zone period. Currently, he lectures in Israel and internationally on Israel's security challenges, with a specialization in the northern arena.
