Koen Buyse is a Flemish singer and the frontman of the band Zornik, born on February 20, 1977, in Zonhoven. He started with a school band called Natural Effects and reached the final of Humo's Rock Rally with The Pink Reflections in 1998. His breakthrough came in 2000 with Zornik Breknov, which was later renamed Zornik after signing with EMI. He has performed at several festivals and initiated the electronic project Nitebytes. Buyse has also been a jury member on Idool 2011 and participated in The Voice Kids.
