Kōji Igarashi is a Japanese journalist and professor at Otsuma Women's University. Born on October 20, 1952, he served as an editorial committee member at Asahi Shimbun and has been a commentator on TV Asahi's 'Hōdō Station' since April 2011. He has held various academic positions during his career, including visiting professor at the University of Tokyo and lecturer at Waseda University and Tsurumi University. Following his retirement from Asahi Shimbun, he continues to appear as a commentator on several TV programs.
