Kōji Morimoto (February 24, 1942 - December 17, 2015) was a Japanese politician who served as a member of the House of Representatives for four terms and as a member of the House of Councillors for one term. He hailed from Nara Prefecture and graduated from Kansai University with a degree in law. Throughout his political career, he held various significant positions, including the 60th Minister of Construction, Chairman of the Public Relations Committee of the Komeito Party, Chief of the Kansai Region, and Deputy Chairman of the New Frontier Party's Legislative Committee.
