Kokoro Sano is a former professional baseball player born on January 23, 1967, in Hamamatsu, Shizuoka, Japan. He played as an outfielder and later transitioned into coaching and administration roles in high school baseball. In April 2004, he became the head of the Kikutaka High School baseball club, where he briefly served as coach. From 2016, Sano took on the role of head of the Hamamatsu Kaiseikan High School baseball team and became its coach in March 2017. His father, Makiwo Sano, was a first-round draft pick for the Hiroshima Toyo Carp in 1965.
