Kōryū Nakamura (年) was a Jōdo sect monk and the 86th head priest of Chion-in in Japan. Born on April 28, 1906, he lived a long and impactful life until his passing on May 8, 2008. He held the rank of Daishōjō and was affiliated with Jissō-ji, a temple in Shimizu Ward, Shizuoka City, Shizuoka Prefecture. Throughout his life, Nakamura contributed significantly to his religious community and upheld the traditions of the Jōdo sect.
