Kōsei Eguchi (1997-2020), also known as PEYO, was a Japanese manga artist known for his work 'Boy meets Maria.' He started his professional career in 2017, publishing the BL manga, which explores themes such as sexual identity and societal acceptance. Eguchi's breakthrough work was later compiled into a volume and published in November 2018. In 2019, he shifted from BL to shonen with 'Kimio Alive' but faced challenges due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Tragically, he passed away at the age of 23 on August 19, 2020.
