Kostas Dimou is a retired Greek international basketball referee born on December 26, 1936, in Arta. He served as a referee in hundreds of basketball games in Greece and Europe from 1961 to 1981. Dimou was present at the Olympics in 1972 and 1980, officiating significant matches including the 1967 World Championship final. He is also known for co-founding the Greek Basketball Referees Federation (ODKE) and served as its president for 20 years. He was the first Greek and third European referee inducted into the FIBA Hall of Fame.
