Kotarō Ōgimi (January 2, 1919 - July 26, 1994) was a prominent actor, playwright, director, and dancer from Naha, Okinawa. He was known as a leading figure in Okinawan theater and served as the president of the Okinawa Actors Association. Born as Tomama Asaaki and later adopted by a renowned Okinawan actor, he adopted the stage name Kotarō Ōgimi. He wrote over 200 scripts under the pen name Ichirō Minami and contributed significantly to the Okinawan performing arts.
